Pattern - fold-over wallet with side pocket

TOOLS AND MATERIALS
You may need previous tools in later lessons, but I organized them from the start so that you could begin without having everything.

#1 - CUTTING
cutting mat
straight edge
rotary cutter (optional)
utility knife / cutter blade
veg tan, 8" x 10" or scraps (2-3 oz, or 3-4 oz)
pattern

#1b - OILING
clean dry cloth
neatsfoot oil / mineral oil / coconut oil

#2 - EDGE PREP
edge beveler
acrylic paintbrush
gum tragacanth / water
burnishing tool

#3 - SHAPING
soft face hammer / rubber mallet
awl
pencil
water in a dish
bone folder

#4 - STITCH PREP
pricking tool / diamond chisel (optional)
stitch groover / awl
contact cement / rubber cement

#5 - STITCHING
waxed thread
pliers
flame / heat source
stitching horse (optional)
2 leather needles / large needles

#6 - FINISHING - no extra tools required
